Splitting a story
One scene is one action and, if someone speaks, one short line.
Write the story in plain language. Split into scenes reads the whole script and fills a card for each beat. You can edit the action, the line, the length, and the prompt before anything is generated.
A scene that tries to show a chase, a costume change, and a conversation will wander. Split that into three cards.
The app keeps up to 80 scenes, which is about 10 minutes. Each card stays editable. Earlier clips stay until you remove them.
Without an OpenAI or Gemini key on the server, split breaks the story on blank lines and quotation marks. With a key, a model does the first split. Either way, you can rewrite every card.
